News: Sound To Sample releases Underground Minimal & Sony Cinemascape 2

2011/04/03 in News

2 new releases on Sound to Sample – Underground Minimal and Cinemascapes 2 by Sony.

Underground Minimal – Stripped late-night rhythms, glitched percs, throbbing basslines, dark synths and a super-sized collection of tight and punchy synthetic drums for minimal and techno producers.

Designed with total creative flexibility in mind, all 113 loops are custom-built to slot together seamlessly for optimum inspiration – mix and match elements to create a near infinite number of smouldering minimal grooves.

The collection breaks down into 51 drum loops (including stripped, top-only, kick-only and perc-only variants), 14 basslines, 48 music/synth loops (some with effected variants) and a bountiful collection of 319 one-shots (including fx, kick, snare, hats, perc and random).

Sony Cinemascapes 2 - Follow-up to the sublime James Johnson Cinemascape, featuring 1.1+GB of sultry soundscapes, endless atmospherics and dawn-shaped elements for soundtrack work and downtempo productions.

Evolving pads, twilight strings, weeping synths, Tibetan drones, vectored grains and beautifully formed piano lines are underscored by subtle rhythms, atmospheres, field recordings – even Gregorian chants in this pack laden with esoteric, ethereal and emotional content.

This 2-disc collection is divided into two parts. First up is a collection of four royalty-free songs, with all constituent parts created to work together. Simply lay down like-named beds and elements for 1,000s of original compositions.

Augment your ideas by drawing from an additional folder full of sonic elements to add depth and breadth.

Or just use the 200+ evolving 24-bit Wav sonics as idea kick-starters in their own rights for your own productions.
